Vintage 1930's Sterling Silver Cigarette Box, Sun Ray Design
About the Item
An attractive vintage 1930's sterling silver cigarette box.
Made from sterling silver with a sun ray engraved lid, in a typically Art Deco design.
It has a small rectangular plain cartouche to one corner which could be personalised if desired.
It is cedar lined with a two sectioned compartment and has a leather covered base.
This beautiful box is fully hallmarked for sterling silver, Birmingham assay office, 1934, maker Sanders and Mackenzie l.
A lovely vintage box, heavy and substantial with a beautiful design.
Condition:
Fair used condition overall, quite a few small dings to the rim and corners, signs of use and wear commensurate with age, the cedar lining coming away at the sides very slightly to the silver.
