21st Century, Champagne K-over, Solid pure silver, Your Moon, Italy

About the Item

The value of this champagne cover/glacette is based on the innovative techniques that have been used in its production. As it can be clearly seen from the pictures, the surface of the pure silver 999/°° K-OVER shines as the Moon. This innovative texture provides also a technical advantage: when you touch the cover, no fingerprint is left. The K-OVER is perfect to celebrate special events such as weddings, New Year’s Eve and birthdays. The cover has been completely handcrafted by Marco Fedi, a Florentine master goldsmith. The production process took few weeks and the techniques used are spinning and engraving. This product can be customized according to the needs of our costumer. As a matter of fact, the oval at the center of the cover can be engraved or chiseled with special dates, names etc etc If you wish to have your own K-OVER, we invite you to contact us. We will be glad to work with you! Artist information: Marco Fedi started his career in the ‘80s, working for the most prestigious workshops in Florence. During the years, he worked for Tiffany, Bulgari, Christofle and Cartier. Today, he is collaborating with K-OVER for the projects K-over Memories and K-over Design. Technical features: K-OVER is the new brand of P.M.P Firenze, a company with more than 40 years of experience in the silverware industry. Working in this market for such a long period, enabled us to develop a completely new product: a modern glacette. Indeed, our covers can maintain your precious bottles of champagne chilled. The cover can be used as many times as you want: by unscrewing the cap at its bottom, it is possible to change the champagne. All covers are new and have been only exhibited in public events. Covers are suitable for champenoise bottles such as: Moët Et Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Cristal, Pol Roger, Piper-Heidsieck, Perrier Jouët, Taittinger, Mumm, Ferrari, Berlucchi. All our champagne covers are produced in solid silver 999/°°. The usage of pure material is a novelty, as a matter of fact, silverware is usually produced in sterling silver. Our choice can be explained by three reasons. Firstly, we want to provide a high valuable product to our customers. Secondly, pure silver is hard to oxidise, so that it is easier to be cleaned. Last but not least, silver has an antibacterial property which make it safe.

This champagne cover is a jewel to enrich your table. Indeed, the artist transformed our pure silver 999/°° K-OVER into a precious treasure chest to keep your bottle of champagne chilled. The artist took inspiration from the well-known Fabergé Egg and perfectly managed to reproduce the beauty and refinement of the eggs produced by the House of Fabergé. In addition, egg symbolises life; we hope that our customer will use our K-OVER to celebrate the most important moments of their life. The cover has been completely handcrafted by Stefano Vigni, a Florentine master goldsmith and a “Fabergé workmaster”. The production process took few months and the techniques used are painting, repoussage and chasing. The core value of the product is given by its artistic perfection. Indeed, the artist worked a single piece of silver and the complexity of the task was increased by the fact that the reverse side is missing. It is also important to underline the great attention in chiseling geometrical designs. In the future, it will be hard to find such a talented artist. The champagne cover is made in solid silver 999...
