Sistema Solare Chandelier, Piattelli Design, Ivory-toned Onyx and Brass, 4-shade
By Arredoluce, Silvio Piattelli
Located in Tavarnelle val di Pesa, Florence
Luxury chandelier, made from thinly-cut pieces of exquisite ivory-toned translucent onyx. Ideal to be hung over a table, with versatile configurations. Ivory onyx comes from Middle Eastern quarries and has a unique veining. This translucent stone is carefully worked in Italy, and was chosen because of its combination of interesting patterns, high translucency, and the way it makes the light output look warmer. The 4-shade version is ideal to be hung over a round table. Our onyx supplier has worked in many high-end architectural projects, and these same materials have been used at the Armani hotel in Milan. When he was shown the chandelier designs, he rose to the challenge and adapted his tooling to make us perfect round discs. He worked hard to find exactly the right thickness that would keep the depth of the texture. It could not be too thick, otherwise it would lose transparency. And too thin, it would look like it was printed. The result is stunning. The combination of carefully-worked translucent stone and brass works perfectly, and the use of the ingenious Orbitale structure allows the geometry of the chandelier to be played with, and it can be configured in several ways. There is nothing else like this on the market. The Sistema collection uses a clever rotating stem structure and features a shallow drum-shaped shade at the end of each arm. The chandelier arms are designed with two lengths so that each can be staggered at different angles. They work well in any space and suit both regular and low-ceilinged rooms wonderfully. The chandelier arms are designed with two lengths so that each can be staggered at different angles. They work well in any space and suit both regular and low-ceilinged rooms wonderfully. Please see the drawing to get an idea of sizes for the different chandeliers. On the upper side of each disc there is a smaller opening to provide ambient light. Top-quality LEDs with over 80 CRI, meaning that the lighting does not alter the color of food and people. The LEDs are on a 24V direct current feed, so there is no flickering. The arms can be rotated 180 degrees to configure various combinations. As well as two rows of evenly-spaced lights over a dining table, a regular 8-shade star or 4-shade star (see photos) are possible, as well as creative sculptural shapes. The arms can be rotated even when the chandelier is lit. The shades can also be rotated on the arm axis to meet any lighting needs in a living room (paintings, bookshelves etc.). This listing shows the smallest drop. A change of drop is complimentary. Silvio Piattelli copyright and design. Specifications (Note: The Sistema chandelier has glass shades, while Sistema Solare...

Sistema Solare, Luxury Ivory Onyx and Brass 8 Rotating Orbitale Arms Chandelier
By Bruno Gatta, Stilnovo, Silvio Piattelli
Located in Tavarnelle val di Pesa, Florence
Luxury chandelier, made from thin pieces of translucent onyx. Ideal to be hung over a dining table, with versatile configurations. Featured on Netflix series Designing Miami, 1st episode! There is nothing else like this on the market. Ivory onyx comes from Middle Eastern quarries and has a unique veining. This translucent stone is carefully worked in Italy, and was chosen because of its combination of interesting patterns, high translucency, and the way it makes the light output look warmer. The 8-shade version is ideal to be hung over a long rectangular table. See schematics. Our onyx supplier has worked in many high-end architectural projects, and these same materials have been used at the Armani hotel in Milan. Poltrone MIM "Parioli 8105" di Ennio Fazioli
By Ennio Fazioli, MIM Roma
Located in Conversano, IT

Magot, original 19th century porcelain Buddha
Located in Vicenza, IT
Magot of exceptional size with tilting head, tongue and hands. Material made entirely of porcelain, with the exception of the "biscuit" hands. What are magots? The word magot comes from the French: barbary ape. They are male or female figures with oriental features. Usually the material used for the representation was painted or decorated porcelain. The subject depicted, in a good-natured and pleasant way, is Pu-Tai. The Chinese god of happiness and abundance. It is said that they brought good luck because, thanks to their head, tongue and jointed hands, they were able to warn earthquakes. They arrived in Europe between the end of the seventeenth century and the beginning of the eighteenth century thanks to the first connections between European merchants (Venetian in particular) and Chinese. In the following decades, they became a status symbol to be displayed in aristocratic homes. They found fertile ground in Europe thanks to the fashion for the exotic that developed in the Old Continent during the first decades of the eighteenth century. This fashion can be found in various objects of the time, not only in the Magot, see the toilet objects and lacquered furnishings decorated with the famous chinoiseries. In a few years, thanks to the increased demand, our factories also began working to satisfy this new form of collecting. From the German ones: Meissen, Dresden, Rudolstadt; to the French ones: Saint Claude Samson and Chantilly, to the Italian ones. True masterpieces were created throughout Northern Italy. The Piedmontese ones, made of papier-mâché, were then unusual. Authenticity: Completely intact to the naked eye and the infrared lamp...

Beautiful pair of oil paintings on canvas. Works by the renowned artist Eugenio Edoardo Zampighi. Truly rare paintings to find on the market due to their quality, number of characters, and paired execution. Hence the titles of the paintings: "Center of Attention" "Admiring the Child" Period: Second half of the 19th century Origin: Modena, Italy Technique: Oil on canvas. Style: Verismo Details: Refinement: Zampighi's skill lies in depicting the figures as if a camera had simply captured a candid family scene. Golden Frames: Both paintings are enclosed within stunning golden frames. Ready to be hung. Recurring Elements: The white bowl, like the cat, the vinegar barrel, the water pitcher, and the lit fireplace are recurring elements in almost all of Zampighi's paintings. Authenticity: This pair of paintings are original works by the painter E. Zampighi (Modena, 1859 - 1944). Their analysis using infrared lamp...
