Tacchini Reversível Lounge Chair Designed by Martin Eisler in Stock
By Tacchini, Martin Eisler
Located in New York, NY
upholstered in Dedar karakorum Ivory
Fruit of the creative genius of the architect and designer Martin Eisler, Reversível is an historic piece of Carioca design, and Tacchini fell in love with its incredibly innovative style. With the simplicity of its lines and movement, this armchair transforms with casual elegance. The dynamic, flexible reissue of Reversível offers dual comfort with two possible seat positions, to sit in the chair with the back upright, or really relax in a semi-reclining position, parallel with the backrest. The simple, natural movement makes it seem an obvious solution, but it actually represents as ground-breaking an intuition now as then. This original, informal seat with its distinctive lines is completed with a metal structure and fabric coverings. Reversível bears witness to the soft, sensuality of Brazilian 1950s design, a combination of tradition and creativity, folk craft and visionary innovation.

By Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler
Located in Houston, TX
A Masterpiece by Martin Eisler and Susi Aczel
Introducing a remarkable opportunity to acquire these captivating round side tables, expertly designed by the legendary duo Martin Eisler and Susi Aczel for Forma S.A. Móveis e Objetos de Arte. Crafted with impeccable artistry, these tables exude an air of sophistication and timeless elegance, making them a coveted addition to any discerning collector's repertoire.
An Icon of Martin Eisler's Legacy:
These side tables stand as a testament to the unparalleled design prowess of Martin Eisler. Within his illustrious body of work, this piece holds a special place, representing the epitome of his creative genius. Drawing inspiration from the midcentury era, Eisler skillfully incorporates the showcase table typology, a signature style popularized by Forma.
A Harmonious Fusion of Materials:
Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, these side tables feature two meticulously crafted tops. One exudes the warmth of its hardwood, showcasing the natural beauty of this exquisite hardwood. The other top, crafted from elegant glass, adds a touch of transparency and lightness to the composition. The perfect balance between the hardwood structure and its meticulously placed cutouts creates a visual harmony, allowing the tables to playfully explore the interplay of presence and absence.
An Aesthetic Triumph with Functional Ingenuity:
Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these side tables offer a captivating proposition. The clever design allows you to proudly display your cherished objects beneath the protective glass top, all while maintaining the table's usable space. It's a harmonious blend of form and function, a testament to the ingenuity of Eisler and Aczel's vision. Produced in São Paulo circa 1950, these tables were also available at the Argentine branch of Forma, expertly overseen by Susi Aczel.
