Emma Jane Pilkington
The Melbourne-born, Connecticut-raised Emma Jane Pilkington is known for her restrained elegance and artfully edited interiors. Pilkington began her career in fashion — she worked as a stylist for Esquire magazine — before transitioning to interior design. Since then, Pilkington has created well-curated spaces for the likes of Ivanka Trump and Cristina Cuomo. Influenced by travel and her love of European culture, Pilkington fills her interiors with a modern mix of 18th- and 19th-century French chandeliers, rustic farm tables and Gustavian seating. Last month, the designer's own stunning Greenwich, Connecticut, home was featured on the cover of Elle Decor. This week, Pilkington — who is presently at work on her first book — took a moment to share an edit of her favorite items from 1stdibs. More
