Since launching his luxury womenswear label in 2008, Joseph Altuzarra has been a darling of the fashion press and a recipient of numerous accolades, including the 2014 CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award. The young designer — an alum of the prestigious Forbes "30 Under 30" list in 2012 — honed his craft in the ateliers of Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler and Givenchy, where he assisted creative director Riccardo Tisci. The Paris-born, New York–based Altuzarra's feminine, seductive creations combine, in his own words, "French sophistication with American pragmatism and ease." This week, we asked the talent to lend his singular point of view and share his favorite items from 1stdibs. More
