With offices in both New York and the Hamptons, interior designer Robert Stilin is known for his ability to add relaxed seaside ease to architecturally rigorous spaces. Named as one of Elle Decor's A-List designers, Stillin creates bright, inviting and thoroughly livable environments. He's a member of the Director's Council at the Whitney Museum, so it's no surprise that he has a deft touch when it comes to mixing modern art with vintage furniture. Also a 1stdibs dealer, Stillin maintains a storefront stocked with antique and restored pieces that reflect his self-described "contemporary comfort" aesthetic. This week, we asked the designer to not only shop 1stdibs, but also elaborate on his eight favorite pieces on our blog, The Study. More
