About the Item

JOLANTA JOHNSSON (born 1955) Polish painter. She studied at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the years 1984-1989, in the graphic studios of prof. Halina Chrostowska and prof. Rafal Strent and in the painting studio of prof. Jerzy Tchorzewski. She gained a PhD in visual arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in 2012. Currently, she runs a graphic arts and design workshop at the European Faculty of Arts at the Vistula Academy of Finance and Business. Her works have been exhibited at numerous exhibitions, including in the United States, Sweden, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Greece. PROVENANCE Exhibited at Katarzyna Napiorkowska Gallery. The Gallery is a primary representative for this artist. The Gallery of Katarzyna Napiorkowska is one of the first private art galleries in Poland. For over 30 years, the gallery has been presenting contemporary paintings, graphics, drawings, and sculptures. Our galleries are located in Warsaw and Brussels. The portfolio of the Gallery includes selected objects of renowned Polish artists. In 2015, our Gallery was awarded the prestigious title of the Ambassador of the Polish Economy in the European Brand category awarded by the Business Center Club. CONDITION Very good condition.
