This is how she writes about the drawing: "Intimacy, as portrayed in this artwork, encompasses the entirety of the human body. The body is a visual representation of a person's existence, particularly focusing on the male form. Intimacy acts as a protective barrier for the body, allowing the individual to decide who can breach this barrier and gain access. Certain areas of the body are especially safeguarded, as they serve as gateways into the essence of the human being, both physically and psychologically. It is within these realms that intimacy and eroticism intertwine, creating an enigmatic aura surrounding the human body. Black and red are colours that can be seen as opposing each other. Black absorbs visibility, red draws attention, signals. Black space interspersed with streaks of red signals an ambiguous intimacy definition." The creation of this artwork utilises the monotype technique, a process involving the artist's use of stencils, which are meticulously drawn and cut out. Additionally, a relief print is applied from a linoleum matrix, adding depth and texture to the piece on professional, high quality Fabriano paper. Hand-painted elements further enhance the uniqueness of each work.
