Paper size: 110.5 x 74.3 cm. / 43.5 x 29.3 in.
Additional Information: This original lithograph in colours is hand signed in pencil by the artist “J. Johns” at the lower right corner. It is also dated “72” [1972] next to the signature.
It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 69, at the lower left margin. There were also 9 artist’s proofs.
It was printed by James Webb assisted by Ronald Olds and Ronald Adams at Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles who also published the edition in 1972.
The paper bears the blindstamps of the publisher.

Jasper Johns
Jasper Johns is an American painter, sculptor and printmaker born on May 15, 1930. He eventually became one of America's best known post–Abstract Expressionists and Minimalists.
Johns's name is most often associated with pictorial images of flags and numbers and Pop art subjects that he depicted in Minimalist style with an emphasis on linearity, repetition and symmetry. He completed his first flag painting in 1955, alphabet subjects in 1956, sculpture in 1958 and lithographs in 1960.
