Lithograph on vélin d'Arches Arjomari paper. Unsigned and unnumbered, as issued. Good condition. Notes: From the folio, Lettre à mon peintre Raoul Dufy, 1965. Published by Librairie académique Perrin et Cie, Paris; printed by Fernand Mourlot, Paris, July 22, 1965. Excerpted from the folio (translated from French), The typography of this book is due to L'Imprimerie nationale. Mr. André Brignole being Director, and Paul Lajun as head of typography. The composition was made with the Garamont corps 20 propriété exclusive du grand Établissement d'État sur les presses. The printing was completed on July 22, 1965. Color lithographs and black drawings as well as manuscripts were pulled on Fernand Mourlot's presses. Henri Jadoux was the director in charge of the work. It was taken from this book XXXV examples on vélin B. F. K. de Rives numbered from I to XXV, accompanied by a suite of lithographs and an original etching signed by Jacques Villon; CMLXXV examples on vélin B. F. K. de Rives numbered from XXVI to M, accompanied by a series of lithographs V̅ examples on Arjomari vélin numbered from MI to V̅I̅, and finally CC examples out of trade.
RAOUL DUFY (1877-1953) was a French painter associated with the Fauvist movement. He gained recognition for his vibrant and decorative style, which became popular in various forms, such as textile designs, and public building decorations. Dufy is most remembered for his artwork depicting outdoor social gatherings. In addition to painting, he was skilled in various other fields, including drawing, printmaking, book illustration, scenic design, furniture design, and planning public spaces. Dufy was in the milieu of Matisse and Picasso.

- "Victoria" original lithograph signed by Malvin Marr "Zsissly" AlbrightBy Malvin Marr AlbrightLocated in Milwaukee, WIThe present print, "Victoria," is the most iconic example of the printmaking of Malvin Marr Albright, called Zsissly. The composition for the image comes from Albright's painting from about 1935, done while he was studying at the Art Institute of Chicago. We can see clearly in the image how he possesses the same skill for unsettling, magic realist images as his more famous twin brother Ivan Le Lorraine: The lady Victoria sits at a dining room table, surrounded by luxurious still-life objects. All the textures and surfaces of the image express a horror vacui as seen in his painted works, such as "The Trail of Time is Dust" at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art.
