Original vintage Soviet health propaganda poster - If you want to be healthy, do cold training - featuring an illustration of a smiling young boy wearing a colourful striped swimming cap with a dumbbell tied to his waist and holding a ski pole while standing with one leg on a bottle marked medicine / Лекарства to show his victory over being ill through his active life of summer and winter sports set against a blue background. Cold training or cold exposure conditioning is an ancient practice based on the impact of the elements of air, water, sun, and low and high temperatures on the body to improve circulation, strengthen the body and purify the spirit, and help the body improve immunity through its resistance to the adverse effects of these factors. Issued by the Central Research Institute of Health Education of the Ministry of Health of the USSR. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears.
