Outsider Art Wall Sculpture: 'Numbers'
By Gerard Cambon
Located in New York, NY
Gérard Cambon was born in 1960 in Toulouse (Fr). He has a degree in political science and is a self-taught artist. In the earlier years of his life practiced and experimented with collage and model making. Later, with an interest in old machines and patinas he started collecting old and used objects, tools, and fragments of items whose previous lives remained obvious. When he travels, one of his greatest pleasures is to find materials in antique shops or ironmongeries. In 1994, he began creating Locomobiles and reliefs and presented them to the public for the first time at “La Jeune Peinture,” a Parisian art fair. In 1995 , he stayed during 8 months in the hospital for eight months (leukaemia) where he began preparing and creating plans for new Locomobiles and reliefs. As his health improved, he committed himself to his artwork and during the same year met a Parisian gallery owner who decided to organize a solo show for him, Le Galerie Beatrice Soulie in Saint Germain des Pres. He has shown his work since 1996 in Paris and since 2000 in the United States (New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle). He is currently being shown by galleries in France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg , Denmark, and the United States. He keeps on trying out new materials (fabric, leather, glass, plants, metals,…) that he integrates into his bas-reliefs: traction engines...

Savannah Spirit The Bottom Line (Black and White Nude Photography B&W)
By Savannah Spirit
Located in Los Angeles, CA
In this rich self portrait, Savannah Spirit takes the tradition of black and white female nude photography, and turns the gaze back on itself. In this series, the muse is the artist, and the gaze is her own. Spirit believes that an image of a woman's body should not be viewed through a purely sexual lens. Through her artwork and curation, Spirit takes on technology and social media censors who operate on the assumption that any unclothed body is pornography. Archival pigment print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag. Edition 3/3 $2200 Style: This photograph combines a feminist eye and modern feminism with classic vintage...

Please expect framing time between 3-5 weeks. From the estate of Ruth Friedmann Opper & Jerry Opper. Ruth was the daughter of Bauhaus artist, Gustav Friedmann. San Francisco Abstract Expression A free-spirited wave of creative energy swept through the San Francisco art community after World War II. Challenging accepted modes of painting, Abstract Expressionists produced highly experimental works that jolted the public out of its postwar complacency. Abstract Expressionism resulted from a broad collective impulse rather than the inspiration of a small band of New York artists. Documenting the interchanges between the East and West Coasts, she cites areas of mutual influence and shows the impact of San Francisco on the New York School, including artists such as Mark Rothko and Ad Reinhardt. This piece is an original artwork by Jason Chen titled "Disguised Confidence". It is made of archival pigment prints from the artist's photography that he cuts and weaves together by hand. The piece measures 22”h x 34”w and ships framed in the pictured 25”h x 37”w frame. In 2012, Jason Chen shifted his long-running focus on dry plate tintypes to a new process: photo weaving.
