Arne Jacobsen Cylinda Line Ashtrays from Stelton, 1960s

About the Item

This Cylinda-line ashtray, designed by Arne Jacobsen and made by Stelton 1960s / 1970s, represents the rare small-sized version meant for cigarretes. The version in brass came on later, when the machine had difficulties working with the new material. It is shown in catalogues first ime in 1982. It retains its original patina, showcasing its well-preserved state. Considered a rare find due to its limited production, these pieces embodies Jacobsen's iconic design and craftsmanship. Both are in great patinated condition and has not been polished or anything. If you want to have a more cleaner look, it is easy to do yourself. Please see photos of a small crack in one of the items, measures around 2mm and a little damage on a edge. Beautiful pair. Please reach out for any questions.
