Small Scale Giltwood Convex Sunburst Mirror
Finely carved gold leaf gilded convex sunburst mirror in unusual mini size. Spain, 1930s-1940s.
This gorgeous miniature sunburst mirror has a frame comprised by finely carved rays surrounding a carved ring framing a convex glass. Finished in gold leaf gilding. This piece has a dramatic aged patina showing its original gilding.
Place it alone or as a part of a collection of sunburst mirrors in different sizes to create a wall composition. (The small sunburst mirrors shown at the images are avaliable at our 1stdibs marketplace. Kindly ask us in case that you are interested in a wall composition )
