Josef Frank, rare stool model B313, Thonet, 1928

About the Item

Bentwood stool, model B 313, designed by Josef Frank for Thonet-Mundus in 1928. This example have an (for this model) unusual rattan seat. Possibly a later addition since the holes of an earlier upholstery is still appears on the underside of the seat frame. It still has the original "rubber" feat. Remains in a very good vintage condition with light ware and patina consistent with age and use. Unmarked.
