Pair of Gilt Frame Gothic Angels
About the Item
Two gilt framed Gothic Angels framed and painted in the style of Fra Angelico - hand-carved in Italy in 1890. These are in excellent condition with little to no paint chipping and wonderful colorfastness. The spiral spindles should be handled with care as two are loose. Features spiral columns and foliate spires - oil painted angels are superbly preserved with genuine gold gilding. Includes original manufacturers stamp on the back.
