Midcentury oil painting on canvas by Fouat Michel is an intriguing example of the artist's work, wherein he recreates the cave drawings that are found in special places across the globe, especially in France and the USA. Since the cave drawings retain very little of their original coloration, he has reimagined the works with colors drawn from local, natural materials just as the original artists would have done, providing us with a fresh look at some of the earliest examples of Primitive art,
