An atmospheric painting in a blend of soft turquoise, blue, yellow and purple. "Music is often the inspiration for my work," says artist DL Watson. "Listening to many different genres, music can set the mood, affecting my process. This piece was created while listening to classical, setting a tone of peacefulness and relaxation."
About the Artist
DL Watson creates semi-abstract paintings with floral and botanical references. Splitting her time between Florida and Oregon, she finds inspiration in the patterns that repeat themselves throughout the natural world. While her paintings are often grounded in her own childhood memories and past experiences, they evoke a beauty that is universal in their natural subject matter. She creates interest and intrigue through the color and movement that she uses to balance her composition.
