Fabulous 'western' style painting, showing a woman dressed in full skirt and hat, steering the horse drawn carriage through the desert. The carriage looks like it belongs to a person of means, or perhaps she is a highway woman? That is certainly the more interesting story that one can interpret!
The painting technique feels quite innocent, but incredibly whimsical. It is set within quite an unusual, but stylish wooden frame which compliments the painting.
