A very well-painted and skillfully composed portrait of a working man.
Painted circa 1890-1900, this is an honest depiction of a man resting during what Im sure is a hard day's work.
Signed top right the painting is an excellent piece of history, both in how the man is painted and also the scene.
Framed in a beautiful antique frame.
