Vibrant colors makes Natasha Tayles happy. She enjoys discovering new methods and techniques of painting and creativity. For her, art is an important form of self-expression. It's about being in my own world where it feels free, fun, easy and enjoyable, she explains. She feels the most liberated when working in an abstract style and prefers everything bright and colorful.

Artist Nava Lundy crafts impressionist paintings that radiate delicate feminine charm, characterized by romantic and textured elements. Focused on achieving depth and dimension, Nava applies impasto layers with a palette knife. With a touch of gold present in nearly all her pieces, her paintings shimmer with a luminous and dreamlike quality. "My goal is to have the viewer see the depth of color I see and to rethink the mundane by elevating it through the exploration of subtlety and turning up its volume at just the right points," says Nava. Her creative journey took a transformative turn at 16 when a teacher's encouragement led her to discover her artistic voice. She then pursued a BFA degree in painting. Nava works in her cluttered home studio, accompanied by her two dogs and occasionally music or podcasts. "This painting was created in one fast sitting, with furious yet thoughtful brushstrokes," explains Rachel. "The acrylic paint ranges from thick impasto a thin watercolor-like veil." Part of Rachel's signature cubist coffee series. For these pieces, she studies her extensive collection of cafetieres that she keeps in her studio. The works are both about celebrating her love of coffee, and depicting light, pattern, and repetition as though it were set to music.About the Artist
For Rachel Srinivasan, an idea is worth putting on a canvas only if it still feels exciting after a few days. Rachel enjoys mulling the idea over in her mind for some time before creating an artwork. She hopes viewers will engage with her work and wonder about the subject matter, shapes and colors. "My current work is all about creating a connection between the person on the canvas with the viewer," she explains. She prefers large paintings and sometimes even makes her own canvases.
