Andy Warhol
Rare Vintage Large Unicorn silkscreen on glass bowl, Rosenthal Inc.

ca. 1991

About the Item

Andy Warhol Vintage Large Rosenthal Bowl (Unicorn), ca. 1991 Large Silkscreen Glass bowl (authorized signature fired onto plate) Warhol's signature is printed on the plate 21 × 21 × 3 1/2 inches Series Rosenthal Studio Line Manufacturer Rosenthal Inc. In original vintage box Rarely found, this large undated vintage glass charger plate/bowl was created by Rosenthal in collaboration as part of their prestigious Studio-Line. It is absolutely gorgeous. Photos don't do justice. This special series reprised Warhol's earliest designs from the 1950s, such as this lovely blue horse with butterflies. In fine condition; makes a terrific gift! Bears Warhols cursive signature on the plate. Comes packaged in the original Rosenthal Studio Box with Andy Warhol's authorized signature on the top and the bottom. The box depicts Warhol's iconic self portrait on one side and flowers on the reverse. This plate is so large and stunning that it would be great as a centerpiece on any table. The box has vintage agewear, peeling etc -- vintage condition but the plate is beautiful and in excellent condition - the photos do not do it justice. It's one of the nicest plates we've ever seen. Just whimsical and charming and impressive. A great fruit plate too - but some might choose to frame it in a shadow box (we would) or exhibit it on a mantle shelf.
