Scottish, 1870-1935
Andrew Douglas was a Scottish painter of landscapes and cattle. He studied art in Edinburgh and received several awards and exhibited in Edinburgh, Glasgow, London and the provinces and widely abroad. He was awarded membership to the Royal Scottish Academy in 1933.(Biography provided by 1515 Lincoln Gallery)
