Arturo Di Stefano
British, b. 1955
Arturo Di Stefano is a British artist born in 1955 in Huddersfield. He studied at the Royal College of Arts in London.
He creates compositions of an exceptional strength and continues developing subjects that he uses repeatedly; such as arcades, mythological figures, especially feminine, emblems of a pictorial prohibition.
Di Stefano’s work has been exhibited several times since he finished his studies, including at the Tate St Ives, the Royal Academy of Arts and at the Museum of London.(Biography provided by White Court Art)
