Bill Burke Art
Bill Burke received a BA in Art History from Middlebury College and a BFA and MFA in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design. He has received grants from the John Simon Guggenheim Foundation, the Ford Foundation and the Massachusetts Council on the Arts, as well as two fellowships from the National Endowment of the Arts. Burke’s photographs are in the permanent collections of the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles; Museum of Modern Art, New York; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Smithsonian Institute Museum of American Art, Washington, D.C. and George Eastman House, Rochester, New York.
