Michael Parkes Art
American, b. 1944
Michael Parkes (1944) studied graphic art and painting at the University of Kansas. After his studies he traveled for three years through Asia and Europe. In 1975 Parkes settled in Spain. Throughout his career, numerous international exhibitions underline the importance of Parkes’ work. Michael Parkes is both a uniquely talented painter and sculptor and master of the art of original stone lithography.
Michael Parkes is the world’s leading Magical Realist. His more than 30 years of success as a fine artist stand out in the art world. Parkes’ works are collected by celebrities, important private collectors, and museums around the world. His body of work has stood the test of time.
What is unusual about Michael Parkes is that in his images metaphysical and spiritual elements are joined into reality. His work evokes a mysterious atmosphere, which can often only be deciphered with the help of ancient mythology and eastern philosophy.
In the fantasy world of Parkes, the laws of earthly reality are abolished, and space and time enter into their own motionless communion.
It is tempting to speak of a dream world with Parkes, if it were not for the fact that the ‘dream world’ of Michael Parkes surpasses all of our dreams in audacity, freedom and intensity. In short, in Michael Parkes, the figurative art of our age has found a new, fascinating and extremely authentic exponent.
As human beings, we limit our sense of perception to what is generally comfortable and present in everyday life. In limiting our perceptions to suit our individuality, we miss the vastness of other perceptions and the doors they represent. Though we have been conditioned to perceive nothing except our own world, Parkes convinces us to enter other realms.

Noland Anderson is a self taught portrait artist who strives to create works of art that are a celebration of people of color. He is known for his detailed compositions in oils applied with loose brush strokes. He often features images of Black women and men engaging in everyday life in urban settings. Born in Newport News, Virginia with roots in Sumpter, SC, Noland's passion for figure drawing was formed at an early age. Noland attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale where he received an Associate Degree in Advertising. Upon graduating, he went on to work as a freelance illustrator, designing Judaic art throughout the mid 1990s through early 2000s. During this period, Noland's freelance work extended into television where he worked as one of three court artists for the ABC affiliate in South Florida and as an illustrator for Univision (an American media company serving the Latin Market worldwide). Noland is represented by Neema Fine Art Gallery.
Neema Fine Art Gallery will donate 15% of the subtotal of each purchase of "Transcendent Achievement Through Transformational Leadership" to the Beta Nu Foundation in an effort to support the Beta Nu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha in their efforts to support the needs of the FAMU student body, the needs of the surrounding community, and promote scholarship among Alpha Phi Alpha members and beyond.

Israeli Modern Passover Lithograph Silkscreen David Sharir Holiday Art Serigraph
By David Sharir
Located in Surfside, FL
This is a mixed lithograph and serigraph silkscreen as per descriptions i read. this is not signed or numbered. it is a rare artists or printers proof print. It depicts Moses and Aaron at the top and I believe it relates to Passover and the exodus from Egypt.
David Sharir was born in 1938 in Tel Aviv, Israel and currently resides there.
David Sharir, the son of Russian immigrants, was born in Israel. Beginning his study of art in Tel Aviv and continuing in Florence and Rome, where he studied architecture and theater design. The brightly colored costumes and intricate stage designs he created for these productions have profoundly influenced his art. When Sharir moved to Jaffa in 1966, his hallmark style was truly developed. Studio, family, and spiritual devotion all serve as inspiration for the imagery in his work. His evolving style combines personal experience, Biblical symbolism, and fantasy.
David Sharir, born 1938, Tel Aviv. Was among the first artists to settle in Old Jaffa in 1966. He depicted biblical subjects with a touch of humour and designed sets and costumes for the theatre and opera.
