Punk Me Tender Mixed Media

French, b. 1982
Punk Me Tender & Mr. Brainwash worked together for over fifteen years, making art and street art, traveling the world, holding art shows. In 2016, it was time for Romain to start his own venture, and Punkmetender was born. The name came from two of his major influences—Daft Punk and Elvis Presley. At first, graffiti and street art were his main goal, creating illegally on billboards or walls in the cover of night. But soon the focus evolved to fine art and mural installation. Butterflies became his source of inspiration because they represent freedom, spirit, and beauty. They have become a constant in all of his artwork. A few years ago, Punkmetender created a new kind of mural installation, integrating three-dimensional butterfly shapes as if they were flying—representing connection on a spiritual and physical level. They are designed to invite the viewer in to the art and to be a part of it by taking pictures of it or with it, ultimately to be inspired to imagine their own reality. Punkmetender is constantly studying art, constantly evolving. His goals are stationed on the moon.

On his work he explains “the technique I use is itself a transformation: I lay down colors over white butterflies, and watch them transform.” “The same way a butterfly is born, and how it transforms itself from a chrysalis– my whole body of work is based on that” Inspired by the anonymity of Mr. Brainwash and Banksy, Romain began to work under the pseudonym, Punk Me Tender, a name derived from his great love for the legendary singer Elvis Presley and electronic duo Daft Punk. First Class Girl - Framed Original Colorful Blonde Girl Pop Art Painting
By Nelson De La Nuez
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Nelson De La Nuez is one of the most sought-after contemporary Pop artists practicing today. His striking, vivid mixed media artwork borrows motifs and messages from the language of wealth, power, fame, excess, taste, and access to cast a narrative about modern society. Known to many as The King of Pop Art, De La Nuez is an innate iconoclast, elevating themes from commerce, pop culture, advertising, and branding to provide commentary on our culture—showing us that the entire world is for sale—in a manner that is both ironic and aspirational. This one-of-a-kind 51.5-inch high by 42-inch wide original artwork is a mixed media and oil pastel composition layered on paper. This artwork is signed by the artist on the front. This artwork is framed in a modern white wood frame. Size and price include frame. Free local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Included in the “Who’s Who List of the Most Collected Artists of Our Time '', De La Nuez was born in Cuba and moved as a child to California, where he was initially introduced to many of the iconic images that he uses in his art to this day. His ability to experience these important cultural touchpoints at such a young age with a purely fresh perspective allows him a distinctive point of view—one that is both critical and embracing, sardonic and sentimental—that lends his work an air of accessibility and curiosity and has led to his significant popularity. Empowering - Colorful Figurative Modern Cultural Commentary Original Painting
By Fabio Coruzzi
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Italian artist Fabio Coruzzi merges painting and photography into one imaginative image that offers a new outlook on an otherwise ordinary urban scene. His artworks represent an authenticity unlike any other: layered, textural, controversial, open to imagination, colorful, personal, and inspiring. Coruzzi’s work encapsulates not only urban environments, but the inhabitants as well. Irony is laced between figures drawn with an energetic architectural hand. His work is colorful, funny, and biting through resolutely rendered vignettes of people and places. Fabio Coruzzi used acrylic paint, oil pastel, and graphite to create this one-of-a-kind artwork on canvas. It is signed by the artist on the front and back. This colorful 24-inch high by 30-inch wide original painting is stretched, wired, and ready to hang. It does not require framing. Free local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Fabio Coruzzi was born in Foggia, Italy in 1975, and now resides in Southern California, USA. Remarking on his work in conjunction with his perspective on urban environments, Fabio states: "I wish that each painting I make should be like a poem of the place where I've been. I wish to become a poet of our time, like somebody would tell: "I've been there", but telling that my way, telling the audience that, no matter where we are, in a boulevard or in a restaurant, each single place is like an empty box...

Untitled (Pinkie) - Figurative Portrait Woman Pop Art Painting
By Hilary Bond
Located in Los Angeles, CA
In bold, acrylic line paintings, US artist Hilary Bond depicts the heads and torsos of women, often repeating the image in overlapping compositions. Her contemporary groups of pop culture portraits and figures are creatively rendered in a palette of transparently layered colors on canvas. This soft palette 36 inch high by 18 inch wide pop-figurative artwork is wired and ready to hang. The sides of this modern artwork are painted. It does not require framing. The painting is signed by the artist on the front and back. Affordable Continental U.S. and worldwide shipping available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included. Abstract Expressionism, Pop Art, American culture, and childhood influence Hilary Bond’s choices in color, brush work, material, and composition. "I was searching for inspiring female figures and a female ideal, archetype, and muse. I started painting models, in particular, Kate Moss. The composition and line quality influence my color choice and ultimately the overall emotion of the work. I want my paintings to be mysterious, beautiful, assertive, and to have their own inner dialog. The artists who inspire me change with each piece, but I was substantially influenced by Manet’s Olympia, de Kooning, Schiele, and Warhol." Hilary Bond was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. After attending the Baltimore School for the Arts she went to The Cooper Union and received a BFA in 2007. Hilary’s artworks are represented by Artspace Warehouse...
