Gucci GG Rhombus Print Long Sleeve Silk Purple Print Shirtdress Resort 2020

About the Item

Known for his whimsical designs, Creative Director Alessandro Michele revolutionized Gucci with his flair for drama and love of mixing traditional house codes with contemporary fashion. It’s best to expect the unexpected from this designer as he produces collection after collection that surprises and delights. According to Alessandro, his 2020 Resort collection was a “hymn to freedom,” and featured a range of styles that emphasized individuality and personal choice. From that collection, this shirtdress is the perfect blend of modern sophistication and menswear with 1970s undertones. Done in a multicolored silk, the dress features the maximalist Gucci Rhombus Ramage pattern that was seen on that season’s runway. The Rhombus Ramage print is comprised of several patterns, beginning with an argyle check print in mint green, lavender, black, and cerulean. Another baroque print of leaves crisscrosses over the argyle pattern, adding a layer of complexity, while the design is punctuated with cream and black GG logos throughout. Size estimate: Small Size: 40IT/ 4US Shoulders: 14.5 inches Bust: 37 inches Waist: 36 inches Hips: 40 inches Length: 33 inches The dress begins with a pointed spread collar and long sleeves that extend past the wrists. The central front placket is set with gleaming gold buttons adorned with the Gucci logo to match the buttoned cuffs. The dress falls from lightly structured shoulders to a mini length several inches above the knee, creating a classic A-line silhouette that balances the more formal neckline. A sensational addition to the discerning fashion lover’s wardrobe, this Gucci shirtdress can easily be styled with statement heels and accessories and is a versatile day-to-night wardrobe addition. This Gucci mini dress is unlined and has gold GG logo button closures along the center front placket and at the back of each cuff. It features the GG logo print throughout. In excellent condition with a light perfume odor. High-quality pieces like this are yours to live in and love while increasing in value every year. It’s never too soon to start collecting them, as an investment in your wardrobe—and in yourself.
