This two piece pants and maxi vest by Whims of California has all the bells and whistles for chic 1960's party attire. The 100% cotton construction has the appearance of painted or flocked fabric with a matte silver background and a mod print in vibrant shades of red, hot pink, purple and orange with black outlining. The maxi vest or dress buttons at the bodice and has a cutaway opening which reveals coordinating flared pants that zips and buttons at the back. The purple velvet sash feeds through two side openings to create a cape effect at the back when tied. The vest/dress is lined in a tomato red faille fabric which makes a great backdrop for the print. Perfect period ensemble for hostess or cocktail attire. CONDITION Very good vintage condition. The original belt was missing and has been replaced with vintage purple velvet ribbon, as shown. SIZING & MEASUREMENTS The size is not marked though the pantsuit best fits U.S. size 6 and might also work for additional sizes with attention to the following measurements. For visual reference, the mannequin in the photographs is a size 4 and the pants were a bit large.
