Japanese Cloisonne Box W Flowers By Ando Jubei

About the Item

A Japanese vintage trinket or jewelry box by Ando in the original box. The round box is decorated on the outside with flowers in purple colors using the cloisonne enamel technique. The interior of the box is covered with smooth black enamel. The original square wooden box of the product with inscriptions in Japanese. Hallmarked. Period Showa, 1926 to 1989. Ando Company is a Japanese cloisonne making company founded in the 19th century, located in Sakae, Nagoya, central Japan. Japanese Boxes And Enamel Collectibles. Dimensions: Overall size: D 3 7/8 in.
