Pair Of Early Meiji Japanese Cloisonne Enamel Ginger Jars

About the Item

A pair of antique Japanese late Meiji era, 1868 to 1912, covered ginger jars. The exterior of both matched pieces is enameled with polychrome enamel blossoming flowers and butterflies on a cobalt blue ground, and features two turquoise colored medallions adorned with flower arrangements. The lids are decorated in the same style. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Enamel Table Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles. Dimensions: Overall size: H 5 1/4 in. All measurements are approximate. Condition Overall good vintage condition. Refer to photos.
