Circa 1860-80 Pair of Japanese Imari Covered Jars
About the Item
Circa 1860-80 pair of Imari covered jars, Japanese. The lids with finial tops, decorated with phoenix birds & flowers. The jars decorated with large flower vases underneath flowering trees set against geometric designs alternating with cartouches of phoenix birds surrounded by rich floral rosettes. Small nibble on underside of one top.
13.5" h., 7" x 7".
