The raised rounded sides of each dish/ashtray bears two semi-circular indentations to the rim. These versatile examples of Victorian silverware were crafted as ash trays, however, by virtue of their size they could be utilised as bon bon or sweet meat dishes. Condition These antique silver fox ashtrays are an exceptional gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in exceptional condition. Each piece has been professionally polished and is in presentation condition. Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the body are all very clear; the hallmarks are struck deeply due to the exceptional gauge of silver.
