19th Century Saryk Chuval Tent Bag
About the Item
This luxurious tent bag was woven in western Central Asia by the nomadic Saryk tribe of Turkmen. Its fine attention to detail and use of luxurious materials such as silk and cotton speaks of the value that these nomads placed on their domestic weavings.
