Custom Made Chippendale Style Partners Desk in Tiger Maple
About the Item
A fine custom made Chippendale style partners desk in tiger maple with rectangular molded edge top and conforming case with central frieze drawer flanked by four graduated dovetailed drawers on each side, with faux drawer fronts on verso, all supported by carved bracket feet. The piece is adorned with batwing brasses and amazing wood grain. Dates to the 20th century in very good overall condition, with some minor top surface scratches, minor shrinkage cracks, and other imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 29 in H x 54 in W x 27.5 in D. Kneehole dimensions: 22.75 in H x 22 in W. Ref: 8
