English Mahogany Leather Top Partners Desk
About the Item
A fine 3-piece large mahogany partners desk with olive green leather top and gilt tooled border, the top section with single frieze drawer flanked by two smaller fitted drawers, supported by pedestals, each with three drawers on one side and single shelf storage compartments on the back side, along with a center frieze drawer. The brass drawer pulls have been replaced at some point. This desk is English in origin, dating to the early 20th century, and is in good overall condition, with some leather staining and discoloration visible, high point and edge losses, shrinkage cracks, and other imperfections and wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 30” H x 70 ½” W x 46 ¼” D.
