Dino Martens Murano Art Glass Filigree Vase for Aureliano Toso, Italy, 1950s

Gorgeous Murano hand blown Zanfirico ribbons and gold flecks Italian art glass sculptural flower vase. Documented to designer Dino Martens for Aureliano Toso, circa 1954, model number 5669 (published, see last photo). The piece has white net Zanfirico ribbons and pink “A canne” ribbons alternating on the vase. The piece is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf throughout, including the shell shaped foot.
