Ridgway Dessert Tureen, Cover, & Stand, c. 1808-1815
About the Item
The color scheme is simple and bright, with little green and gilt clovers arranged in a pattern across the open expanses of porcelain body. The saucer-stand shows a nice touch of unnecessary detail, with a rose bloom in the central panel that usually holds the tureen.
