My basic research can only find that it may have fetched $180,000 but cannot remember what charity it was going. May have been in the early days of the Product (RED) charity but can’t quite remember. This all happened during the filming of the video for “City Of Blinding Lights” at GM Place in Vancouver B.C. During early filming before the shoot was announced on the radio earlier in the day, which allowed a few thousand fans to fill the arena as extras. Westenberg’s biggest honour to date arrived in 2012 when he had his first major global museum show. The location was the ‘Kobe Fashion Museum’, one of Japan’s largest museums. The whole museum was dedicated to Westenberg’s works for a 3 month period. Over 70 images were included in a wide range of sizes, styles and presentation.
