Shadow and Tree is an original watercolor on paper, realized between 1986 and 1988 by Armin Guther.
Very good condition. Including Passepartout (cm 50 x 60)
The artwork is hand-signed and dated on the lower right corner.
This beautiful watercolor represents a huge tree in front of a wall, making a mysterious passway through them, the shadow in brown color in the ground, can at the same time presents either soil or shadow.
The different green colors of the three and its style of painting comes from a skillful hand, rich of emotions which makes this piece of art admirable.
Armin Guther (1931 - 2017) was an important artist born in Austria. He studied here and he specialized in drawing, painting ecc. In 1987 he won the Don Quixote Prize for Sculpture. Since 1967 he held exhibitions at home and abroad.
