About the Item
This was my second painting to incorporate unprimed canvas as the backdrop for a work. Each panel represents a wing. The bones of the painting are an abstract representation of what you would find on any Monarch butterfly. The rest is the emotional release of creativity to fill the canvas with color, movement, and lines to stimulate the imagination to bring the painting to life. The back story: This painting was imagined on the ask and a favor to an artist friend & artist Chris Judy, which of whom was commissioned for works in the JW Marriott in Downtown Dallas. The project had the original artist running behind on an installation and they asked me if I could come up with something quick & temporary that would fit their story. The monarch migration was a part of their vision for design, and I went with it. In the end – the hotel project was also behind, and they did not need my work, but I was grateful for the inspiration the story brought to both canvases.

Publicly he is known for being the director of operations at the Dallas legendary steakhouse and the right hand man of Mr. Biernat. Brad Fuller is formally trained and has always dreamed of being recognized as an artist. His artwork has been collected privately for years, but in 2021 he finally decided to put his art on display. We are proud to debut some of his new works in our gallery. Abstract art in acrylic paint on canvas is what he is most known for, but he believes sticking to one method doesn't fulfil his potential. Painting is meditation for Fuller and a window into his subconscious. Expect to see him in showrooms, homes and hotels across the globe soon.
