Poisson is an original print: a colored lithograph, hand-signed in pencil on the lower right margin. An artist's proof in excellent conditions, including passepartout: 34 x 49 cm.
Very interesting print representing a fish into a glass-box.
Paul Guiramand (1926-2007)
One of the most famous post-war French painters, Paul Guiramand was influenced by French masters like Matisse and Bonnard and his artistic production has always been characterized by bright colors and strong brushstrokes. His artworks are held at the Musée d'Art Moderne de Ville de Paris, the National Library in France, the Besançon Fine Arts Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, the New Otani Museum in Japan, the Tainan Yung Tu Museum of Art.

Paul Guiramand
Guiramand, painter, sculptor and lithographer, was born in 1926 in Saint-Quentin in northern France. In 1943, he entered the École des Beaux-Arts. In 1951, Guiramand, with a painting entitled l’Olympia, (Homage à Manet) won the prestigious Prix de Rome. There followed a period of studies in Rome (1953-1957) after which his career was enhanced with personal exhibitions in London, Geneva, Paris, Chicago and Tokyo.
