A fine impression of Wittrock and Adriani’s only state from the edition of 50 printed in this color, numbered “No. 21” in pencil lower left (there were 50 additional impressions printed in black ink, for an overall edition of 100). Also bearing the artist’s monogram stamp (Lugt 1338) in red ink lower left. Published by the periodical L’Escarmouche, Paris, December, 1893; printed by Edouard Ancourt, Paris.
