ABOUT THIS PIECE: Artists Elmgreen and Dragset created a faux Prada store on the highway outside of Marfa Texas .The sculpture was financed by the Art Production Fund and Ballroom Marfa, a center of contemporary art and culture. Miuccia Prada selected the purses and shoes herself and gave the artists the right to use her logo.
ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Noel Kerns is a Texas-based photographer who specializes in capturing the abandoned landscape of the American southwest. Growing up in the central Texas hill country, he developed his photographic skills shooting large format black & white landscapes. The slow and deliberate nature of the large format photographic process was a perfect launching pad into the art of digitally photographing the nocturnal world.
ADDITIONAL SIZES AND FRAMING: Additional sizes are available. Please inquire for more information on larger sizes. We offer fully archival professional framing for all prints for an additional cost. Framing is available in white, black or natural wood and prints can be framed either with or without a mat board. We also offer face mounting to plexiglas. Please inquire for pricing and more details on our framing.
PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.
