Dynasty Winter White & Gold Dress & Coat Ensemble, 1960's
About the Item
1960's Dynasty cocktail dress and coat ensemble in a wool blend winter white fabric with metallic gold accents. The fabulous Nehru style coat buttons at the front with gold braided frog closures and hidden side pockets. The simple sleeveless shift dress zips and hooks at the back with a youthful horizontal stripe. Both pieces are lined and can be worn together for a period perfect look or as separates ... the coat would even be fun with jeans.
CONDITION
Good vintage condition with apparent moth damage on the coat at the front bottom near the hem as shown in photographs 5 & 17 and a hidden area at the back of a sleeve. Photograph 16 shows wear to the gold braid of one of the frogs.
SIZING & MEASUREMENTS
Both pieces are marked a U.S. size 8 and best fit modern day sizes 4 - 6 with attention to the following measurements. For visual reference, the mannequin in the photographs is a size 4.
