Louis Vuitton snow globe with a miniature reproduction of the iconic Louis Vuitton suitcase and trunks. . It is made of clear glass with a black plastic base. 'Louis Vuitton' signature on the base. Made to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the reopening of Maison Vuitton on the Champs Elysées, Louis Vuitton has created a snow globe, inspired by a famous photograph by Jacques Henri Lartigue. The stack of monogrammed canvas suitcases is representing the Eiffel Tower. The photo was taken by Jacques Henri Lartigue on October 5, 1978, on the Trocadero esplanade, to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Vuitton brand the following year. The boule à neige is notable for the extreme care taken in every detail of its creation, and was on sale between 2006 and 2010 in the maison's stores.
