About the Item

Organic stoneware tray designed by Gunnar Nylund. Swedish Modern ceramic hand made at Rörstrand in Stockholm during the 1940s. Leave shape with a greyish to eggshell glaze. Gunnar Nylund was artistic director at Rörstrand porcelain company, where he worked from 1931 to 1955. He remain as one of the most influential and prolific Swedish ceramics designer from the Modern era. The piece will mix greatly with works by ceramicists such as Axel Salto, Carl-Harry Stålhane, Wilhelm Kåge or Stig Lindberg.
