Pair of Vintage Scandinavian Modern Carl Malmsten Samsas Original Armchairs

About the Item

Carl Malmsten Samsas armchairs for O.H. Sjögren from the mid 20th century. The chairs are a Swedish modern classic and the Samsas series is today recognised as the most characteristic designs from Malmsten. The armchairs Samsas is a 1960s favourite that has its origin in the chair Konsert which Carl Malmsten designed for Konserthuset in 1923. The chairs are elegant with smaller measurements but still have generous proportions that make them comfortable as well as stylish. The chairs would be excellent in all types of environments and styles. The seat depth is 51 cm and seat height is 42 cm. Original upholstery with minor traces of wear and good padding.
