Late 1700s French Walnut Louis XV Chest of Drawers
About the Item
Found in the South of France, this Late 1700s French Louis XV Chest of Drawers was crafted by French artisans from old growth walnut. The piece features a three planked top resting above two large hand dovetailed drawers. Each drawer retains its original brass hardware, escutcheons and locking mechanisms. No key is available. The commode is finished with a scalloped apron on the front and both sides and the piece rest on four cabriole legs. Presenting original peg joints and a rich walnut patina this chest of drawers will compliment any room of the home.
